To better protect the European market, Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC becomes Regulation (EU) 2023-1230. A regulation is applicable as soon as it is published.
Deadline for the new one, which will gradually replace the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
· Articles 6(ch.7), 48 and 52 from 13 July 2023;
· Article 50(ch.1) from 14 October 2023;
· Articles 26 to 42 from 14 January 2024;
· Articles 6(ch.2) to (ch.6), (ch.8) and (ch.11), 47 and 53(ch.3) from 14 July 2024;
· 14 January 2027 in its entirety and the DR machine will be repealed;
· Devices and machines actually on the market shall comply with the new regulation from 14 January 2027 and all new design shall comply with the new setup;
· New Design must already comply with the deadline.
